Bring the true power and horror of Lovecraftian tomes to the standardArkham Horror game, and the power to do research with these benighted tomes in future Arkham Investigations cases.
One of the ways in which the original Arkham Horror game deviates pretty strongly from the source literature is the importance of the benighted tomes from the stories. Arkham Book Club looks to correct that by bringing the tomes a higher prominence in the game. This is done with several techniques:
Includes 15 printable, foldable tome booklets to cover the base game.
You can also create your own tomes with the Strange Eons editor. If you’re lamenting the fact that these tomes don’t cover all expansions, this is your out, at least until we unearth our own versions of these tomes.
The following versions of the casebooks are available for download:
| Language | Title and Description | Download |
|---|---|---|
|
English RuleBook v2.1 Rules for using Arkham Book Club. Download this first and read through the rules to see if this is of interest for you. If so, download the token sheet and whichever tomes you need. |
|
|
English Tokensheet v2.1 An extra tokens sheet. |
|
|
English Foldable Tomes v2.1 The rules, token sheet, and all available printable booklets, in English. |

Miskatonic University encourages its professors and students to discuss the works in the Special Archives using these forms. Please do not mark on the books themselves.
So, which cases use these books extensively, exactly?
Thank you
Marco from Italy
None, currently. It’s more of an expansion for the base game than something exclusive to Arkham Investigation cases.
These look terrific. I can’t wait to get these into play!
Just downloaded the Strange Eons program yesterday. Learning all about custom additions now. Thanks for providing such an extensive resource of material!
How would you recommend using Daisy Walker with these rules? She ignores the SAN loss for reading tomes & casting spells. Should she not have to spend any kind of token? Get a free Research token? I don’t have experience using these, and Daisy is my new favorite Investigator.
Would also like to see a Livre d’Ivon.
Dear Dr. Armitage,
I am writing to let you know just how invaluable I and my colleagues have found these documents in our investigations. I very much appreciate the high quality in which the the University maintains such items.
Sincerely,
Mandy Thompson, Esq.
